This policy explains how GatherPoint AI collects, uses, and protects information when people use our event discovery and social coordination service.

Information we collect

When you sign in, GatherPoint AI receives basic account information from your authentication provider, such as your name, profile picture, and email address. We also collect profile, event, messaging, preference, and usage information that you choose to provide while using the product.

If you create or discover events, we may process event details, location preferences, registration activity, messages, media uploads, and recommendation interests so the service can operate.

How we use information

We use information to authenticate users, personalize event discovery, coordinate social activity, provide account and safety features, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.

Google sign-in information is used only for authentication, account identification, and profile setup. GatherPoint AI does not sell Google user data.

Service providers

We use trusted service providers for authentication, hosting, databases, storage, analytics, email, and AI-assisted product features. These providers process data only as needed to provide their services to GatherPoint AI.

Data choices

You can manage account information inside the product where controls are available. You may also contact support@gatherpoint.ai to request help accessing, correcting, or deleting account data.

You can revoke Google sign-in access at any time from your Google Account permissions page.

Security and retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect user data. We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements.
